On Sunday, March 12, we will welcome Jason Coker to the pulpit as guest preacher.  Everyone is welcome to join us at 9:15 a.m. for Sunday School and 10:30 a.m. for Morning Worship.

The Rev. Dr. K. Jason Coker has recently been named the Field Coordinator for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Mississippi and Director of Together for Hope, the Rural Poverty Initiative of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. He comes to Mississippi from Wilton Baptist Church where he has been the pastor for nearly 9 years, and where he has lived since 1998. Coker, however, is originally from the Mississippi Delta. Having escaped the grinding poverty of the Delta, Coker completed his Masters of Art in Religion from Yale Divinity School, and then finished his Ph.D. from Drew University. Currently a resident of Clinton MS and a member of Northside Baptist Church, he is married to his college sweetheart, Pamela Coker, and they have three very fun children, Liam (9), Owen (7), and Reyna (5).
