Courtney Stamey, Senior Pastor
Courtney Stamey began serving as Senior Pastor June, 2018. She and her husband Michael live in Clinton. Michael currently works at Millsaps College as the Conference Services A/V Coordinator.
Courtney received her BA from Gardner-Webb University in 2012, and MDiv from Wake Forest University School of Divinity in 2015. Courtney was ordained by FBC High Point, NC in 2014. Prior to coming to Northside, Courtney served as Chaplain Resident at Cone Health, and as Pastoral Resident at FBC Greensboro, NC and Peacehaven Community Farm. Courtney also has experience in curriculum development and public relations.
Courtney enjoys being active and about town, playing sports including golf, softball, and disc golf, and sharing meals with friends. Courtney believes that "Belonging is the center of the Kingdom of God" and hopes that you feel this sense of belonging at Northside.

Susan Meadors, Associate Pastor
Susan Meadors is the longest tenured staff member in Northside history, having served Northside since July 1993. She is married to John Meadors, Professor of Philosophy in the department of Christian Studies and Philosophy at Mississippi College. They are the parents of Samuel, Joseph, and Mary Louise.
Susan is a 1988 graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville and a 1981 graduate of Baylor University. She served two years in Japan as a journeyman missionary, and was ordained by Northside Baptist Church in 2000. She shepherds our educational ministry, and is deeply involved in all aspects of our worship and service, working with artists and liturgists during Advent and Lent, and leading our weekly Prayer Ministry. Recently she was a participant in the Upper Room Ministries’ Academy of Spiritual Formation, a two-year comprehensive program in spiritual formation. She enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, making apple pies, and learning to fly-fish with her husband.

Yolanda Fields, Church Office Administrator
Yolanda Fields began working as the church office administrator in February of 2022. She is married to Jerry Fields, and they have two boys, Jayden and Justyn.
Yolanda is a 2004 graduate of the University of Southern MS with a degree in Journalism. She has worked for AmeriCorps Young People's Project as a Math Literacy Worker and Program Manager. She has also worked as a scriptwriter, 3rd and 4th grade teacher, tutor, and substitute teacher.
She currently owns a scavenger hunt business called ScaVengers. Her company specializes in scavenger hunts form pre-school to adults. They also have scavenger hunts for couples and ladies nights. When she is not working on her business, she enjoys, cooking, reading, and playing board games with her family.

Toney Keeler, Director of Music
Toney Keeler, a native of Lumberton, Mississippi holds degrees in Music Education from William Carey University. He is Director of Choral Activities at Northwest Rankin High School where he conducts the Resonance Concert Choir, Revolution A Capella Ensemble, Renaissance Concert Choir, and Madrigal Ensemble, and the Rhapsody and Reflection Show Choirs. Toney is an avid cook, enjoys playing the piano, and Starbucks.

Janet Taylor, Organist
Janet has been active in church music since she began playing piano and organ at her hometown church, Pope Baptist, at the age of 12. She has been a member of First Baptist Clinton since 1972, where she has been active in their music program and served as pianist for the senior adult choir, “Joymakers.” She also served as organist at Providence Presbyterian Church (formerly Westminster) from 1980-2016.
Janet was a part-time instructor in music at Mississippi College from 1969-2016, teaching applied piano, group piano, music theory and aural skills, music history, and occasionally music appreciation.
She also enjoys cooking, reading, attending granddaughter events such as soccer, cross country meets, and show choir, and playing with Rafa, her Havanese puppy.

Dottie Serio, Pianist
Dottie has been the pianist at Northside Baptist for over 20 years. She and her husband, Joey, live in the Clinton community and have two children, Adam and Elizabeth. Dottie received her Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Carson-Newman College and went on to study piano/education at Southern Seminary. She and her husband were the youth ministers at Northside for 7 - 8 years when their children were young and Dottie has also directed children's choirs in the past. Her full-time job is in the Music Department at Mississippi College.

Tequila Johnson, Nursery Caregiver
Tequila Johnson has been loving and caring for our littlest ones since 2012. She has also been an assistant teacher for the Clinton Public School District for the past 6 years. “I love working with God’s most prized possession. I am honored to be allowed to impart to them as He desires me to, whether it be through song, reading a story or just giving out hugs. I have worked with children since the age of 15 and I wouldn't change it for the world.” Tequila calls Northside her “second church home. There is no place I would rather be than having the opportunity to serve such a wonderful, dynamic church family.” Tequila has been married to her wonderful husband James for over 15 years and they have four children.

Norma Baker, Church Hostess
Norma Baker wears many hats at Northside Baptist Church. An Ohio transplant who retired in 2007 after 40 years as a Sales Administrator for a trailer company , she moved to Mississippi in 2010 to be near family. She has three children: a daughter in California, a son in Arizona and a daughter in Clinton, who along with her family attend Northside. She has four grandchildren: two in Clinton and two in California. Norma sings in the choir, shares organ responsibilities when needed, and is a deacon. As church hostess Norma cooks supper on Wednesday evenings during the school year and prepares several meals each year for the football ministry. She is also an avid cook, seamstress, and quilter. She began the quilting ministry, now the Ladies Sewing Group.

Edward Livingston, Ricky Nations, Michael Stamey & Jeff Wright, Sound Technicians
Ed, Ricky, and Jeff are the men who make it possible for all to hear and appreciate the worship services, as well as other meetings, with their expertise in making sure the correct microphones are turned on and set at the appropriate volume. Their faithfulness is appreciated by all.
