The current Youth Building Committee is a continuation of the Youth Building Study Committee. The Youth Building Study Committee went through the process of determining whether a new space dedicated to the youth was something the church as a whole wanted to do. In a business meeting in November of 2006, the members of Northside Baptist Church voted that we did need a dedicated space.

The mission statement for the current committee was developed by the Youth Building Study Committee:

“That the church takes action to provide an adequate facility for its youth ministry. This facility should include an indoor space for teaching, recreation and missions that is clearly designated for the youth. It should include, in addition to the indoor area, an outside area where recreational sports or games can be enjoyed in a safe environment.”
“We further recommend that this facility be completed and dedicated within 24 months”
