Talent Show
It's not too early to begin digging out your old band instruments, dusting off your dancing shoes and begin planning for our annual talent show to be held Wednesday August 18. Please encourage your children and grandchildren to take part. See George Dale or M. D. Whitfield for details.

Community Garden News
The gardens continue to grow and prosper. Friends throughout the community continue to enjoy the produce. In addition we have now had two booths at the Olde Towne Market, and we have one more on July 24. If you know of gardeners who would contribute produce to sell, please have them call the office. The proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity.

One Book - One Parish - One Summer
David Miller has volunteered to lead our discussion of the book, Forgiving Ararat, a miraculous and mesmerizing novel about life, death, healing, justice, forgiveness, and what it means to be both human and divine.
The books have been ordered and should be here by the first of July. We will discuss the book over coffee and dessert on August 6 at 7:00 at the church. The cost of the book for those who ordered one is $11.
