Epiphany Service, Wednesday Night
We will begin our 2009 Wednesday night activities by meeting together in worship in observance of the Epiphany. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m., and the service will begin at 6:15 p.m.
2008 Contributions
We are hoping to finish 2008 with healthy contributions to our general fund. As you have seen we have been about $19,000 behind our budgeted giving, but we are making up ground on the difference between giving and actual spending. Still, please consider helping us catch up by the end of December. These last months are the primary indicators of how we will budget for the fiscal year beginning in April.
Youth Building Goals Met!
Quietly last Sunday we surpassed our $100,000 goal for the Youth Building. Congratulations to all. This is a sign of real abundance in the midst of a difficult economic season. Our new total is $100,051.00
Angel Tree Gifts Delivered
All the gifts for 28 different individuals through our annual Angel Tree offering. Thanks to all of you for your generosity and especially to Mary Etta Carner for spearheading the whole project.
NBC Youth Fundraising Drive a Success!
Youth Raise $901.00
Thanks to all of you who purchased brownie mix, cocoa mix, and soup mix. Our youth raised a significant amount of money toward their summer youth camp trip to Heifer International Ranch in Perry, Arkansas.

Prayer Ministry
Come join us every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Bride's Room off the sanctuary. We pray for our church, our families, our friends, our country, our world. We count this as a time set aside from our busy schedules to grow in communion with God and fellowship with each other. You can offer your prayers to God through speaking, silence, scripture, poems, songs, and your presence. Choose your comfort zone with God as you share your presence with us.
